Pentagon Protection, working alongside industry experts, is one of the first to offer a range of Energy Efficient coatings that will reduce heat and hotspots in a building, whilst allowing the continuity of natural light.
Pentagon Protection are well under way with various tests and trials to prove the effectiveness of InfraMax® in terms of reduced heat through glazing and subsequent air cooling energy use including energy savings and CO2 reductions.
An additional benefit is its low absorption factor, making it ideal for use with laminate glazing: heat is reflected away from the stack of metal in the construction of the film without the reflective look. However, Pentagon would always recommend a compatibility check.

Glass containment and anchoring
Glass is fragile and every one of us vulnerable to its effects. Safety film alone may not provide the level of protection required, especially in the event of a high-velocity blast such as a bomb or indeed as protection against forced entry burglary. As leading experts in the development and testing of glass containment and anchoring solutions, Pentagon Protection has a range of anchoring systems and edge-retention profiles that will ensure the best of protection within a glazed environment utilising clear film to ensure continued high visibility. These edge-retention profiles can be fitted to existing compliant filmed glazing as an upgrade.
As recognised world leaders in this field of expertise, Pentagon Protection, has also provided many clients with tailor-made bespoke anchoring systems designed specifically to provide a total glass containment solution.
Pentagon DoorTek Enhanced Security System
As a patented anchorage system, designed and developed by Pentagon Protection initially for the high street retailer, the system is designed to provide maximum glazed security protection whilst also safeguarding assets and limiting liability. Designed to absorb attack without deterioration, the Pentagon FT800 glass containment film and patented framed anchoring system has been tested and proven to offer a high level of protection against physical attack.
Pentagon Elite™ Flexible Anchoring
A flexible edge-retention profile designed as a retro-fit upgrade solution to existing compliant safety filmed glazing or as a system of enhanced glass protection when applied with Pentagon's FT800™ multi-ply glass containment film. Applied directly to the window frame, the Elite™ profile is ideal for adapting to virtually any type of window frame profile. The Pentagon system of FT800™ and Elite™ Flexible Anchoring edge-retention profile has been successfully tested to the latest ISO 16933 Glass in Building Explosion Resistant Security Glazing Test.
Pentagon Select™ Metal Anchoring
Designed to match the finish of metal framed systems and available in a range of different profiles and colours to blend with the design of existing window and door frames. The Pentagon system of FT800™ and Select™ Rigid Anchoring edge-retention profile has been successfully tested to the latest ISO 16933 Glass in Building Explosion Resistant Security Glazing Test.
Pentagon Bolted Anchoring System
The Pentagon Bolted Anchoring System once again is designed to provide enhanced glass containment for bolted glazing systems and has been successfully tested and proven to provide protection from a high velocity blast attack and protection against unforeseeable failure due to nickel-sulphide inclusions.
